Biography

Born in Stockport, Cheshire in the mid 1960's I was not that academic, I found English Language and Literature mundain and a waste of time. It wasn't until my family moved to the Lake District that I found any excitment in schooling. Our school had a Commodor PET64 which I was allowed to use as the chemistry I had been taking in the comprehensive school bore no resemblance to the 'co-vailent bonds' and 'electron sharing' they were talking about in a Grammer school! thus my interest in computers and programming was sparked. After my schooling I got a job as an apprentice T.V and video Engineer, electronics my main hobby gowing up. After many years doing this and that after completing the apprenticship I took a job building computers and installing networks. A few years later I was head hunted by another computer company but not only for my developing programming skills but also for.... my Joinery skills! My new boss wanted to build a catamaran of the Warram variety and was his ticket to get it done (and grow the computer business as well). Years passed, as they do, and my own computer consultancy business blossomed and at the ripe old age of 47 I retired to sunny Spain.

So now is the time to while away the hours making circuits and writing software for my own pleasure and amusement.
It was while scrolling through FB that I thought 'why don't I pass some of what I have learnt to others', Hence this website.

I Hope you like what it is to become and it helps in some small way to further your interests. Andrew.
